My name is Titapa Wichianchai. My nickname is Bai-Tong and I am from Bangkok, Thailand. I came to Phuket in 2015, after living all my life in Bangkok (one of the busiest city in the world), because I wanted to live closer to the sea, and where the pace of life is slower. I graduated both Bachelor and Master degrees in International Economics and Trade. My sporting background is very little. I grew up with no passion for playing any kind of sports, but later, in my late twenties, I discovered yoga. I made my way to attend the Yoga Championship in Taiwan after 9 months of practice and continued practicing passionately for the next 4 years. I also certified as a 200-Hr Yoga Teacher from It’s Yoga Satellite in Bali in 2015. Although I didn’t have a background in any kind of sports, yoga has helped me gain strength and flexibility through constant practice. I want to make it clear that yoga is not gymnastics. There are still lots of things I can not do. However, I see yoga as an activity that promotes a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically, and I would like to share my passion for yoga with others. I am delighted to have been given an opportunity to teach the yoga ASP for secondary students at Headstart, and to introduce them to a new physical activity that they haven't yet fully experienced.
