Year 5 Yellow
My name is Kay Forster and I will be teaching the Year 5 blue group at HeadStart International School. I am originally from Cheshire, England. However, I began my journey teaching two years ago in Manchester. There I began working as a teaching assistant, specialising in the education of students who have additional learning needs and English as an additional language. There I discovered my own love of learning. I completed a PGCE and a TEFL qualification in 2017 and promptly applied for international teaching in order to marry my passions of travelling and teaching. I feel incredibly passionate about the inclusion and equality of all learners and strive to ensure that the learning environment is welcoming, exciting, engaging and inclusive. Throughout the course of the year I will ensure that the students at HeadStart International School will develop a love for inquiry, questioning, challenges and collaboration. I’m incredibly excited to become part of the HeadStart team, to develop my own skills both culturally, personally and professionally and I look forward to meeting and working within the diverse HeadStart community.
