Enrolment

All enrolments to HeadStart are subject to the School Director’s discretion. Students for the Foundation Years can be enrolled at any time throughout the school year while Primary and Secondary applicants will be assessed and placed at either the beginning of the school year or at the commencement of relevant school terms. Admissions at times other than these will be considered on an individual basis. For additional information on registration and admissions please contact the school office. HeadStart does not have an entrance exam: We place students according to age and abilities. Applicants who are not proficient in English undergo a two-week assessment in the classroom. At the end of the trial period your child will receive a formal assessment from the Homeroom teacher. The two-week assessment gives us a clear idea of the student’s potential and is essential to placing students in the appropriate class.
