French Native
Christelle Morand
Phuket not having French school, I set up within Headstart for 3 years a class working with CNED (National Center for Distance Education). It allows to the children to follow a French schooling acknowledged by State education, while inserting English-speaking classes during a party of their scholastic time (lesson of English language, sport, PE, SWIM, Club).
It parried me mattering that French-speaking children, supported in a French system of education, have the possibility to acquire a good level of English all at once.
I like to see students progress in English and create new friendships with English-speaking children while some come from France not knowing at all or just the English language. I think the creation of this class allows students enrolled in CNED flourish in a social environment as opposed to those who are learning home alone.
