Year 6B
Kim Sparrow
I have taught in Zimbabwe, England, Italy, France, South Africa, in a number of different environments with children from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Each country and group of children have, in turn, taught me many things, and in doing so, confirmed my love for education. Working at Headstart in its multi-cultural and international community provides a colourful and energetic classroom; perfect!
I believe that children should learn in a creative, challenging and expressive environment where they are able to confront new ideas and tackle problems with confidence. Team work, tolerance and peer support go hand in hand with personal growth and development, and is something which is extremely important in my classroom. I personally am excited to be part of this team in Year 6B, and look forward to the rest of the year.
