Shanmugapriyan Vadivelu
I’m Shan, born and raised in Chennai, India. I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Science, Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Madras University. I currently hold Thailand’s teaching Certificate to teach Maths & Science in secondary schools (grades 7 – 12).
I started my career in Malaysia lecturing HND modules at SC SHA TECH, Kuala Lumpur and then moved to Myanmar and worked as a course coordinator/lecturer in Chindwin Engineering University (4 years).
I love everything about being in a classroom with a bunch of kids. I love the process of getting to know my students, coming to admire and appreciate them, and watching them start to embrace science as something enjoyable, useful, and even empowering. I am enjoying my day-to-day job at HeadStart and it is the best experience I’ve had so far in my career.
