Weekly Update 13 – English version ====================================
Pick Up passes ——————
We are making an effort to tighten up on our student pick-up policy in order to increase the safety of our students. We will be issuing new security passes for all students which you will be required to show to staff and security when picking up your child.
We are currently unable to make your child’s security pass as we do not have pictures of both parents. Please provide the homeroom teachers with two 2X2 cm. sized pictures of you and your spouse before the end of next week. Thank you for your assistance with this important request.

Preschool visits Gymboree —————————–
Preschoolers enjoyed a wonderful visit to Gymboree this week! The happy smiles on their faces tells it all!
P.E. Update from Ms Jenny Campbell ————————————–
The Headstart P.E. department would like to make a girls football team! We want to train a team (or two) and get them ready for a few friendly matches against other schools. No experience is necessary, just the enthusiasm to try your best!!! Anyone interested can give their names to Teacher Jen in the PE office this week.

Phakin Chutipanich (Keeno, Year 7) has participated in the National Academics Mathematics in Primary Competition hosted by the Ministry of Education. HeadStart congratulates you on your success.
Chutiporn Chutipanich (Potter, Year 3) has received the Bronze prize in the Mathematics for Primary competition hosted by the Phranakorn Rajabhat university of Bangkok.
Congratulations!
The Singing Club also contributed to Assembly by singing a song by Jessie J called “Price Tag”. What lovely voices and harmonies! Thank you teacher Jackie Feliciano for coaching HeadStart’s Singing Club!
Teacher Luisa Scarpa reminded us that Saturday the 24th of November is No Shopping Day, a day to avoid shopping to improve the environment around us.

บัตรจอดรถ ————-
ทางโรงเรียนกำลังเพิ่มมาตรการความเข้มงวดในการรับส่งนักเรียน เพื่อความปลอดภัยให้แก่นักเรียนทุกคน โดยการให้บัตรแก่ผู้ปกครองเพื่อแสดงต่อเจ้าหน้าที่รักษาความปลอดภัยขณะที่มารับส่งนักเรียน ดังนั้นทางโรงเรียนจึงขอความร่วมมือให้ท่านส่งรูปถ่ายของนักเรียนทั้งเป็นพ่อและแม่มาที่ครูประจำชั้นภายในสัปดาห์หน้า ขนาด 2x2 ซม. เพื่อทางโรงเรียนจะได้จัดทำบัตรรับนักเรียนให้แล้วเสร็จ ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่ให้ความร่วมมือมา ณ โอกาสนี้
นักเรียน Year 1 ได้ไปทัศนศึกษาที่สวนยางพารา นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้จากแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายนอกและสถานที่จริง
นักเรียนชั้น Preschool ได้ไปทัศนศึกษาที่ Gymboree ณ ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล

ฝ่ายกีฬามีความประสงค์จะสร้างทีมฟุตบอลหญิงของโรงเรียน เพื่อเข้าร่วมแข่งขันกับทีมโรงเรียนอื่นๆในจังหวัดภูเก็ต นักเรียนไม่จำเป็นต้องมีประสบการณ์ ขอเพียงมีใจรักและกระตือรือร้นในการแล่นกีฬา นักเรียนที่สนใจสามารถสมัครได้ที่คุณครูเจน ฝ่ายกีฬา
ข่าวสารจากกิจกรรมเคารพธงชาติเมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ผ่านมา ——————————————————
ทางโรงเรียนขอแสดงความยินดีกับ ด.ช. ภคิณ ชุติพาณิชย์ (คีโน่) Year 7ที่ได้รับรางวัลชมเชยจากการแข่งขันวิชาการ ระดับนานาชาติ วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ระดับประถมศึกษาประจำปี 2555 จากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และอีกหนึ่งรายการ คือ ด.ช.ชุติพนต์ ชุติพาณิชย์ (พ๊อตเตอร์) Year 3 ผู้น้อง ได้รับรางวัลเหรียญทองแดงในการแข่งขันการคิดและการแก้ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ ครั้งที่ 13 ระดับ ป.1-2 จากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏพระนคร เมื่อวันที่ 18 พ.ย. 2555 ที่ผ่านมา ทางโรงเรียนขอแสดงความยินดีแก่นักเรียนทั้งสองคน
ชมรมขับร้องของโรงเรียนได้ขับร้องประสานเสียงในเพลง “Price Tag” หลังกิจกรรมเคารพธงชาติได้อย่างไพเราะตรึงใจผู้ฟัง ขอขอบคุณครูแจ็คกี้ คุณครูดนตรีของเราสำหรับการแสดงชุดนี้
และข่าวฝากจากคุณครูลูอิซ่าคือ เมื่อวันเสาร์ ที่ 24 พ.ย. เป็นวัน No Shopping Day คือ วันงดการซื้อของสากล เพื่อช่วยกันรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ดีของโลก
