Active Learning and Fun in Foundation
It has been wonderful to see the children having lots of fun, being active and practicing for their up and coming Sports Day. Just a reminder that the Foundation Sports Day will take place on Tuesday 13 February. Parents are welcome to join us for the morning.
-
Pre - School: Tuesday 13 February in the Sports hall 8.45am - 9.15am
-
Early Years: Tuesday 13 February, Sports Field, 9.20am - 10.30am
-
Reception: Tuesday 13 February, Sports Field, 9.20am - 11.00am
Please make sure your child continues to come to school every day with a water bottle and the correct running shoes to practice in.
Shoe Reminder
This week I have noticed a number of children wearing shoes that do not fit correctly and are too big. For our little ones, wearing shoes that do not fit correctly can cause problems. They can trip up, fall over and hurt themselves. Please try and send your child into school with the correct fitting foot wear. We recommend Velcro strapped shoes - they are easy to put on with little fuss!
Mosquitoes
Please make sure you apply some repellent before your child comes into school as we seem to have many mosquitoes around just now. Due to the rains and unsettled weather, the mosquitoes seem to be prevalent around Phuket, please take precautions to avoid the uncomfortable bites! Some parents have been adding a cream or small bottle into their child’s school bag to be used if necessary during the day.
Kidsmania Event Saturday, 20 January
Kidsmania at RPM is hosting a face painting and hair styling day this Saturday (20th January) If you have no plans and want to join in the fun, they are open from 10.00am – 7.00pm and HeadStart students receive a 50% discount, which means you only pay 125 THB per child for the day.
Wishing you all a fun filled weekend!
