HeadStart’s new prefects
We would like to welcome 2 new prefects to the school:
Academic Training Project for Thai Students
The HeadStart Thai department is organising training for selected Thai students after school and on weekends. These students will represent the school in an upcoming Phuket School Academic Competition. The competition will be held between October-September, 2013. Some of the categories that will feature in the competition will be modelling clay, story telling, paper collage, reading skills, poetry, writing skills, essay writing and public speaking.
We want to thank all of the parents involved for their support.
Year 7 makes models of the earth
7A did a wonderful job on their homework over the half term break. They have all made 3D models to show that the Earth is made of different layers.
Their effort was really impressive. Well done year 7!
Thank you from Mr.Richard Allenby
Dear Parents and StaffI would like to thank you all for the very kind donations towards the cost of my surgical bill. I was very touched by the gesture and shocked at the generosity of the amount raised.
I left Bangkok, Phuket hospital on the first of the month after a hospital stay of over two weeks. I struggled to walk for some time but have almost mastered it now and I seem to be getting stronger each day although I don’t think I will be quite ready to enter for the sports day at the end of term.
I am hoping to return to teaching at school at the beginning of May.
Once again I thank you all for your kind and very generous gesture. With regards Richard Allenby
