Field Trip to Surin Beach - June 15

Dear Parents,

We are planning a field trip on Friday June 15 for Year 2 students to congratulate them on writing all their exams.

We will take all students to Surin Beach for a beach clean-up. We studied recycling last term in Humanities and we find it important for students to see how polluted are Phuket beaches. It is our responsibility as citizens to make some changes in the way we care for the environment.

Could you send your child to school wearing old clothes which you don’t mind getting dirty and wet. We will provide plastic gloves and bin bags. We will change back into school uniform when we return to HeadStart in the afternoon.

Please return the permission form (in the blue homework folder) signed to the homeroom teacher. If the permission slip is not signed and returned, your child will not be able to participate. Please note that in case of bad weather, we will go on Friday June 22 instead.

Itinerary:

Leaving HeadStart – 8:45

Arriving at Surin Beach – 9:15

Snack and games – 11:00

Picnic lunch on the beach – 12:00

Returning to School – 12:45

Afternoon - Regular schedule (Science, P.E., Club)

Please Provide:

A bottle of water

A hat and sunscreen

A change of underwear

School P.E. uniform to change into once we are back in school
