Hello and sawasdee krab everyone! My name is Mr. Edd. I really enjoy teaching and I’ve spent the last 15 years teaching abroad in Spain, Mexico, the Middle East and most recently Abu Dhabi. I have a passion for teaching students English as a second language, and in 2017 I completed my master’s degree in EAL. This has allowed me to adapt my classroom into an environment that is accessible to all students. I started my career as a teaching assistant with the British Council in Madrid, and I have since taught in secondary schools, universities and primary schools. My experience of different students with different abilities means that I always consider the learner’s needs first, and adapt what is being taught to suit them. I believe passionately in happy, motivated students. My classroom is full of kind, independent learners that question everything around them. They benefit from a well-rounded curriculum that values the arts, humanities and sciences. I am a big believer in the impact of technology and how this can be used in an engaging way by the students. I love being outdoors, and always pushing myself to complete new challenges. When I’m not teaching I’m normally rock climbing, which I may be a little obsessed about! I have found it a truly thrilling sport which demands complete focus. I also enjoy golf, which means I`m always practising. I have also taken part in triathlons before and this is something I would like to do again in the future.
