My name is Natkrita Longsak, or you can call me Kita. I am originally from Bangkok. I graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Education, with a Major in Thai and French for secondary students. I was given several opportunities to Teach Thai for Matayom 1 students, as well as French at the Matayom 4 level. My time there was successful and enjoyable, and I found that my strongest areas were in devising curriculum and in planning classes. However, my career has taken me to the realm of sales manager for hospitalities, a food and a cosmetic company for over 10 years - this helped me gain skills in operation, organizing as I had to arrange events to promote products to press and customers, and coaching as I had to train and drive my staff to reach the sales goals which I think will be useful for the Head of Thai position. At Regent International School, I taught Thai as 1st Language from Pre-school to Grade 6. I also taught at Garden International School: Thai IGCSE for years 9-11 and Thai as a foreign language for Grade 8. Aside from teaching, I also love arranging school events such as Wai Kru Ceremony, Loykratong, etc. I love singing, dancing, playing Thai flute, composing songs and poems, and I apply all my entertaining skills to teaching. I believe that creating excitement and fun in the classroom will make the students learn things more successfully, and when they love your subject they will seek chances to learn more outside the classroom - which will make them improve even faster. This is my first year at HeadStart International school. I look forward to being an effective and helpful Head of Thai for my colleagues, students and parents.
