My name is Phenpaka Damrongkun or Kru Pim. I graduated from Bansomdet Chaopraya Rajabhat University in Bangkok with Bachelor degree in Elementary Education in 1995 and I hold Master's degree of Psychology Educational at Khon Kaen University in 2003. I started my teaching career at Saint Joseph Convent School, Bangkok as a Primary Thai Teacher for 2 years, before I continued teaching at Rajini School, Bangkok for another 3 years. After 5 years in Bangkok, I decided to move back to Khon Kaen in 2000 where I was an alumnus, and it was then that I was appointed to be the Head of Academic Department at Holy Redeemer Northeastern Region School. I worked there for a total of 15 years. In addition, I also worked at Hua Khiew Wittayalai School in Khon Kaen as Head of Academic Department where I was promoted as a Deputy School Director during 2015 -2016. Aside of being a Head of Academic Department, I also teach students in Primary in order to maintain and develop my teaching skills. Over 25 years in different schools and in different roles as a professional educator has given me a wealth of experience and knowledge. Now that I am a Thai teacher in an international school, I hope to do my best for my students and help them to be successful learners while learning the Thai language and our valuable national heritage. I am so glad to have received the good opportunity to teach Thai First Language classes in Year 4 - Year 5 and Thai as a Second Language in Year 6 in this academic year. I am so thankful for the great opportunity that the school allows me to be part of a high quality school and looking forward to providing a good learning experience in order to meet school goals and inspire students, parents and colleagues.
