My name is Natasha and I was born in Phuket but have lived in America and Australia for 3 years each. I’ve obtained a BSc in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Juniata College, America and a Master’s degree in Secondary Teaching in Science and Middle Years (Maths and English) from Victoria University, Australia. In addition, I studied abroad in France while undertaking my bachelor’s degree. I speak 4 languages: English, Thai, Hindi and French. I joined HeadStart in 2018, teaching KS3 Mathematics and Science. Prior to moving to Phuket, I was a Primary and a Secondary cover relief teacher in Melbourne for a year and a VCAL teacher at Victoria University. My teaching philosophy focuses on applying theoretical knowledge from the classroom to the real world. I’m an active and adventurous person; I am passionate about Latin dancing and I love travelling. I also keep myself fit by playing tennis and run the volleyball club at school. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and I’m always looking for new recipes to experiment with, the fresh ingredients that Thailand has to offer make it even more exciting. My education experiences in various countries have shaped me into a diverse individual with an open mind; respecting and appreciating various perspectives. I’m looking forward to another academic year at HeadStart, where we evolve as a community to be lifelong learners.
