My My name is Lindsay Williams and I am excited for my third year teaching at HeadStart. In 2005 I completed a BA (Hons) degree in Primary Education and for 11 years I worked as a teacher in London, England, both in KS1 and KS2. Before this, I lived in a small town called Barrow-In-Furness, in the Lake District. I recognise individuality in children and will strive to meet the needs of all students and ensure that each child knows they are valued members of my class. I am committed to creating a safe, challenging, stimulating and positive learning environment. I believe it is important for students to develop skills working both independently and collaboratively and I provide a variety of opportunities for students to develop these skills. I have high expectations of my students and hope to inspire their love of learning as I provide opportunities for challenge and understanding. Since living in Thailand I have been lucky enough to visit many places in Asia, including Bali, the Gili Islands, Lombok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. My favourite place is still Thailand, for the people, the culture and, of course, the food! I am looking forward to the new school year ahead at HeadStart, teaching Year 6 Blue and getting to know pupils, parents, and teachers!

I am Danny Allan C. Isiguen this is my second year of working at Headstart. I grew up in Baguio City in the province of Benguet located in the in the Northern part of the Philippines. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Biology. I have been teaching in the public school for seven years in the Philippines. I do believe that collaborative learning, limited number or small number of students in class could bring more opportunity to students to learn. Knowing also the background or personality of the students makes me more innovative and creative teacher. I also believe that learning take place better in a conducive environment which also drives me as a teacher to be creative in classroom structuring and approachable teacher to my students. I am looking forward to getting started in this academic school year here at HeadStart as a deputy teacher to contribute a success to the institution.
