Important Updates
Parent Survey
We would greatly appreciate you taking some time to fill out the Parent Survey that we sent out recently. We are now half way through the 2013-2014 academic school year and it is important for us to have feedback, suggestions and comments from you in order to help us as we plan and prepare to make changes and improvements through out the school for the coming year. Please kindly fill out the form and return it to the school office upstairs.
Blood Drive

We recently learned how much the hospitals need blood donations and now we have the chance to respond to that need.
Our school has been invited to participate in a ‘Blood Drive’. On Monday, the 31st of March, between 1 – 4pm at the Siam Makro, across the street from us. The blood mobile unit can be found in an office on the 1st floor of that building.

Maxim Bought A Book ** by Els Bellon, Head of Primary
Maxim (Year 2B) was the winner of our “Get Caught Reading” competition during literacy week. Ms. Els took him to Asiabooks in Central on Wednesday to choose a brand new National Geographic Kids’ book.
Year 4A Assembly ** by Claire-Louise Smyth, Year 4A Teacher
Year 4A had their class assembly about World War 2 this Tuesday. They told us all about what life was like for the families in cities in Britain, that were being heavily bombed by the German armies, during the Blitz.

Year 4 went on their field trip on Wednesday morning to the Butterfly Garden. The children got to get close to lots of creepy crawlies and Miss Ashley even managed to overcome her fear of butterflies!

Year 5A Enjoying the Book Swap by Heidi St. Hill, Y5A Teacher
Year 5A really enjoyed the Book Swap held in the library by Ms. Nola the librarian. The students couldn’t wait to start reading their new (to them) books and stayed in at break time to get started. 5A loves cozy reading time!
Buddy Reading During Literacy Week by Heidi St. Hill, Y5A Teacher
Year 5A and 2B got together last week for some buddy reading. The year 5 students chose story books to read to 2B students. All the students loved reading with a buddy, each getting something out of it. A great time was had by all and definitely will be repeated sometime soon. Happy reading!

Thai Parent Weekly Meeting by Khru Nee, Thai Principal
On Tuesday, March 10th a group of Thai parents got together to talk about our upcoming International Day. You should have received a letter, and the plan below explaining what we are going to do at Thailand’s booth, by this Friday.

Year 3 have constructed bridges using lolly pop sticks.
Year 4 practiced drawing their portraits.
Year 6 have made Keith Haring style 3D sculptures.
Year 8 are learning to create surreal collages using Photoshop.
Year 9 have been working in Photoshop and using their work to create mono-prints.
Year 9 are developing their observational drawing skills by drawing a skeleton.

ทางโรงเรียนใคร่ขอความกรุณาท่านผู้ปกครองสละเวลาอันมีค่าของท่านในการกรอกแบบสำรวจความพอใจ ซึ่งแบบสำรวจที่จัดทำขึ้นนั้นมีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างยิ่งในการที่จะทำให้ทางโรงเรียนได้รับผลตอบกลับ ข้อเสนอแนะและความคิดเห็นต่างๆ เพื่อทางโรงเรียนจะได้นำมาช่วยในการวางแผนและปรับปรุงให้ดีขึ้นในปีต่อๆไป

การบริจาคเลือด
ทางเราได้ทราบมาว่าทางโรงพยาบาลต่างๆยังมีความต้องการเลือดอยู่เป็นจำนวนมากและนี่เป็นอีกทางหนึ่งที่เราจะได้มีโอกาสได้ร่วมกันช่วยเหลือกันและกัน
เนื่องในโอกาสนี้ ทางโรงเรียนจึงได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมกับบริจาคเลือดขึ้นในวันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2557 ตั้งแต่เวลา บ่ายโมงจนถึง บ่าย4โมงเย็น ที่ชั้น1ห้างแม็กโคร ตรงข้ามกับโรงเรียนของเรา ซึ่งวันนั้นจะมีหน่วยบริจาคเลือดของสภากาชาดมาคอยรับบริจาค

แลกเปลี่ยนหนังสือกันอ่าน
การแลกเปลี่ยนหนังสือกันอ่านประสบความสำเร็จอย่างยิ่ง โดยมีการนำหนังสือ 273 เล่มเข้ามาใหม่ในห้องสมุด และมีหนังสือจำนวน 171 เล่มที่นำมาบริจาคและยังมีอีก 102 เล่มที่จะนำเข้าห้องสมุด ขอขอบคุณทุกคนที่ให้ความร่วมมือ

นัดประชุมท่านผู้ปกครองนักเรียนไทย
ในวันอังคาร ที่ 10 มีนาคม 2557 ทางโรงเรียนได้จัดการประชุมผู้ปกครองไทยเกี่ยวกับวัน International day เพื่อขอความคิดเห็นว่าปีนี้เราจะจัดซุ้มของประเทศไทยอย่างไรในงานวันศุกร์ที่จะถึงนั้น
