Lyndel Recto

Hello, my name is Lyndel Recto and I am glad to start my fifth year as a Deputy Teacher, this year in Year 2 Blue, at HeadStart International School. I enjoyed working before in Year 4, where I spent two years. I was able to acquire great experience and learning during this time. I am from Sibuyan Island, Romblon, Philippines. I graduated from the Adventist University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Music, and a Major in Music Education. Previously, I worked in one of my home country’s government ministries. I helped abused young people and adults through counselling and motivated them to make in order to make their future better. I love being a teacher and hope to be an inspiration to my students. I hope they grow up to be capable and to do what they want in life, to persevere and stand up and move forward if they fail. I am looking forward to building a wonderful relationship with our students, parents, as well as the teachers, in this school and am so thrilled to be here and to work with everyone in the HeadStart team.
