Hello and Sawadee krap! My name is Steve Bryans and I am from Brighton in England. I gained my Undergraduate Degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Sussex and my Postgraduate Certificate for Education, (PGCE) from the University of East London. I have 14 years of experience working in schools. 8 years as a Year One Classroom Teacher in Thailand, Malaysia, and China; 2 years as a SEN Learning Support Worker in the UK; 2 years teaching English as a foreign language in Korea and Taiwan to an age range of 3 years and above. I have found my teaching experiences to date extremely rewarding and I've enjoyed the challenges that teaching has presented me. When I teach, I inspire a love of learning; I create a positive, fun, and successful teaching environment but maintain high expectations, warranting the inclusion of all pupils, whilst maintaining a good sense of humour. Outside of school, I like to keep fit. I enjoy jogging, playing football, and trying to learn Muay Thai or surfing. I also love traveling. I love to visit different national parks to see animals in the wild. One of my favorite experiences was seeing wild gorillas in Rwanda, Africa. It was incredible! I also love visiting different historical sites. Here in Thailand, you have some amazing temples that I enjoy revisiting time and time again! I am looking forward to meeting my new class. I am very confident that here at Headstart the children will grow and achieve and reach above and beyond my expectations - we will have an amazing year! Please feel free to contact me about any questions you may have.
