您好！Dear parents and learning inquirers. Glad to see you at HeadStart International School Phuket. I’m a Secondary Mandarin First Language Teacher, came from Kunming, China. I graduated from Kunming University with Bachelor Degree of Arts, Majored in Chinese and Literature, specialized in teaching Chinese as a second language. I am a registered High School Mandarin Teacher in China with High School Teaching Qualifications of China and certified Mandarin. So far in Phuket, I taught Mandarin from primary to secondary school in international and bilingual schools across Thailand and China for 6 years. I used to be a Mandarin specialist in IB School and a trained IGCSE mandarin assessor in a British school. It’s significant being a homeroom teacher of a bilingual school in China which gave more insights of the education system between Eastern and Western. As a Mandarin teacher, proficient with The Chinese National Curriculum is essential; as a First Language teacher, plan and preparation, strategic teaching and good academic results of assessments is substantial. In the class, we will combined with course syllabus inspire learning Mandarin language and literature through effective reading, formative directed writing, good understanding of classical Chinese and ancient poems. Developing their capacities of identify and interpret facts and opinions, analyse and synthesis of context and information, evaluate and specify in expressing and writing . Enhance learners’ literature abilities by various written forms especially for argumentative and discursive writing, descriptive and narrative writing practice. It‘s a great joy for me to deliver my passion and love of Chinese language and literature; moreover, the culture and history of China. I will try my best to inspiring learners reach their potentials, guiding them to achieve a better grade of assessment by expressing in Chinese.
