HeadStart hosted a Summer Camp this year with a total of 74 students from various schools on the island as well as from abroad. With over 18 teachers, assistants and volunteers the camp was very well-staffed along with the excellent back up from the kitchen staff and admin department. Students engaged in activities to encourage learning English, making new friends and learn new skills. All 5 groups went on one excursion per week, as well as a movie for the 4 older groups in the second week. On the last day teachers organised a closing presentation for the parents. Each class had put together a short story or drama with their teachers, and then performed it to over 80 parents. They all did exceptionally well considering the amount of time they had to learn it​​​​​​ in.
