PE kits should be brought to school to change into before the lesson if a child has timetabled PE lessons on that day. Activities will include:

  • Homeroom activities in the morning to celebrate the cultural importance of the Lunar New Year
  • Music and decorations in the school Atrium
  • Lunchtime activities for Primary pupils in the school Atrium

Student News

In cartoon sketching club, children are really able to nurture their passion for sketching in fun and creative ways. We look at how artists and cartoonists build up the layers of their drawings using basic shapes and how using guidelines helps to bring drawings to life. We have experimented with cartoon sketches of our favourite characters, our favourite animals, and even of ourselves. Taking inspiration from what we can see, we have great fun practising and experimenting with our skills. Everyone has an artist inside of them and I’m so proud of what the children have produced so far! -Ms Kirsty Hark

This week Year 2 students in the Thai First language class learned the vowel ‘ua’ สระอัว. There are 72 characters in the Thai alphabet which can be split up into 44 consonants and 28 vowels. That’s a lot of letters! Keep up the good work Year 2 and don’t give up! -Kru Cherry

We kicked off term 2 with loads of smiles from students as some of them started the Aerial Hammock class with Kru Kate. Thank you all for joining us! If you are interested in enrolling your child, be sure to contact us! ☎ 076-612875 📩 [email protected]

SEL

This week’s SEL lesson focused on ensuring students learn to make the best out of negative, unavoidable situations. As the old adage says, ‘When life gives you lemons - make lemonade!’ The students in Primary took this quite literally and made their very own lemonade to help them remember this lesson. This just goes to show that you can’t always stop things from going sour, but life can be so much sweeter with the right attitude! -Ms Lauren Rose
