Safeguarding Policy
Every adult working in or on behalf of HeadStart shares a fundamental responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our children. This commitment includes:
- Providing a secure, nurturing environment where children can safely learn and thrive.
- Proactively identifying children who may need additional help and taking appropriate action.
- Understanding how to recognise and protect children who are at risk of significant harm.
Safeguarding is a collective responsibility. All staff, volunteers, parents, and guardians have a legal and moral duty to uphold the welfare of our students and must report any concerns regarding unsafe practices or a child’s safety.

The School Board at HeadStart is firmly committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our entire community. We take every reasonable step to manage risks across all school activities, protecting students, staff, and visitors from potential hazards.
A safe learning environment is an essential foundation for our school. We achieve this through rigorous management, vigilant supervision, effective training, high-quality facilities, and the active cooperation of everyone on campus.

Equal Opportunities & Inclusion
HeadStart values the individuality of every student and is committed to providing equal opportunities for all to achieve their full potential. We proudly celebrate our community’s rich diversity and foster a vibrant, forward-looking culture built on equity and respect.
We strictly prohibit bullying and harassment, ensuring a safe environment where the dignity of every individual is protected—irrespective of ethnicity, age, religion, disability, gender, sexuality, or background.
By collaborating with families, teachers, and experts, we create tailored educational pathways that empower students to flourish. While we balance our inclusive approach with the conservative cultural values of our host nation, Thailand, our fundamental guiding principle remains unwavering: a fair and consistent environment free from discrimination.

Complaints Policy
This policy outlines the appropriate channels for addressing complaints and concerns within the school. While most issues can be quickly resolved through a simple conversation with a homeroom teacher or an admin team member, this policy details the formal escalation process for unresolved matters.
The procedure for addressing concerns varies depending on whether you are a student, parent, staff member, or visitor. Please refer to the policy document for specific guidance.
- If your complaint relates to a Senior Leader who would normally handle the issue, you will need to escalate the matter directly to their line manager (refer to Appendix 3 of the policy).
- If your complaint concerns the front office team or support staff, please address it to our School Manager, Khun Chajeen, at [email protected].
