Transportation

The HeadStart school bus service is available from Monday to Friday for students in Year 1-9. Students are collected from centralised meeting points in the morning and dropped off at their house in the afternoon. A parent or caregiver must be at the house to greet the child otherwise the bus nanny will take the child back to school where he/she is to be collected.

Safety

School buses are monitored by GPS and will not exceed 80 kilometres per hour. Seat belts are provided for every passenger and students are expected to wear a seat belt. Each bus has an adult overseer in order to ensure the safety and well being of the students.

Parents are encouraged to communicate directly with bus nannies by calling the phone number assigned to each bus. This information is emailed directly to parents at the beginning of the term.
