University Offers

Manar Srivakul – Enrolled at HeadStart Since Year 3

We are delighted to announce that Manar Srivakul has received multiple offers to study LLB Law at top universities. Her leadership as a prefect, involvement in Duke of Edinburgh, Model United Nations, and dedication to Sunny Side Up reflect her passion for law and global affairs. Congratulations, Manar! We are excited for your future and can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the field of Law.

Phudit Pongpech – Enrolled at HeadStart Since Preschool

We are thrilled to announce that Phudit “Putter” Pongpech has been accepted to SIIT, Thammasat University, where he will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since joining HeadStart in 2009, Putter has made a lasting impact on the school community. As a prefect and student council member, he has played a vital role in student leadership, contributing to various initiatives that enhance school life. His dedication to giving back is also evident through his involvement in Sunny Side Up, where he helped support English education for underprivileged children. Congratulations, Putter! We are incredibly proud of your achievements and wish you all the best in your studies and future endeavors.

Why I Love HeadStart

Mason (10 Yellow) – Enrolled at HeadStart since Preschool

Having started in Preschool, HeadStart is the only school Mason has ever known. As an integral member of our school community, he has contributed so much down the years – whether in his role as Primary Head Boy, the various CAPA Junior and Senior shows he has appeared in, or as a member of the Panthers Basketball Academy. Why does Mason love HeadStart?

Community Beach Clean

On Sunday 9th March, led by five Year 12 Student Leaders from our Chaofah City campus, nearly 60 cheerful Cherngtalay students and their families braved an unexpectedly wet start to their morning for the first Community Beach Clean event of the year. Gathering at Bangtao Beach, our environmentally minded team collaborated to remove a range of trash, with a particular focus on small plastic items. While most of the collected rubbish was sent to landfill, an effort was made to collect straws and bottle tops for future projects.

With the rainy season seemingly on the horizon, and the resultant change in the sea conditions in the Andaman Sea, our next event in Term 3 will likely focus on the larger detritus that appears on our beautiful shores with the ensuing waves.

Sincere thanks to all the families and teachers who persevered in the unseasonal weather. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Congratulations to Yellow and Red House for earning the most House points – 24 a piece! Green and Blue House students and their families, we look forward to you matching their energy and enthusiasm at the next Community Beach Clean event in Term 3. Stay tuned for confirmation of the date and location.

Thai Department

Early Years Learning Fruit Names in Thai!

In Early Years Thai Foreign Language, our students had a wonderful time learning the names of fruits in Thai! They took turns being the teacher, helping their friends place fruits in baskets while practising their new vocabulary in a fun and interactive way.

This hands-on activity made learning both enjoyable and engaging! By Kru Amy

Languages Department

Year 1 Get Packing in French Class

Year 1 students were actively engaged with real clothes as they completed their packing list, carefully selecting and naming each item to successfully finish the game. After this hands-on activity, they applied their learning by dressing up one of their favorite characters using stickers, choosing outfits according to their preferences. They then used their newly acquired vocabulary to describe their character’s clothing and colors in French, reinforcing their speaking and writing skills in a fun and meaningful way. Ms Billiau – French Teacher
