Why I Love HeadStart
Mason (10 Yellow) – Enrolled at HeadStart since Preschool
Having started in Preschool, HeadStart is the only school Mason has ever known. As an integral member of our school community, he has contributed so much down the years – whether in his role as Primary Head Boy, the various CAPA Junior and Senior shows he has appeared in, or as a member of the Panthers Basketball Academy. Why does Mason love HeadStart?
Community Beach Clean
On Sunday 9th March, led by five Year 12 Student Leaders from our Chaofah City campus, nearly 60 cheerful Cherngtalay students and their families braved an unexpectedly wet start to their morning for the first Community Beach Clean event of the year. Gathering at Bangtao Beach, our environmentally minded team collaborated to remove a range of trash, with a particular focus on small plastic items. While most of the collected rubbish was sent to landfill, an effort was made to collect straws and bottle tops for future projects.
With the rainy season seemingly on the horizon, and the resultant change in the sea conditions in the Andaman Sea, our next event in Term 3 will likely focus on the larger detritus that appears on our beautiful shores with the ensuing waves.
Sincere thanks to all the families and teachers who persevered in the unseasonal weather. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Congratulations to Yellow and Red House for earning the most House points – 24 a piece! Green and Blue House students and their families, we look forward to you matching their energy and enthusiasm at the next Community Beach Clean event in Term 3. Stay tuned for confirmation of the date and location.

Early Years Learning Fruit Names in Thai!
In Early Years Thai Foreign Language, our students had a wonderful time learning the names of fruits in Thai! They took turns being the teacher, helping their friends place fruits in baskets while practising their new vocabulary in a fun and interactive way.
This hands-on activity made learning both enjoyable and engaging! By Kru Amy

Year 1 Get Packing in French Class
Year 1 students were actively engaged with real clothes as they completed their packing list, carefully selecting and naming each item to successfully finish the game. After this hands-on activity, they applied their learning by dressing up one of their favorite characters using stickers, choosing outfits according to their preferences. They then used their newly acquired vocabulary to describe their character’s clothing and colors in French, reinforcing their speaking and writing skills in a fun and meaningful way.
