Thai Guest Speakers: Flower Art Fun in Year 1 Thai First Language Class!

A big thank you to Ms Jarisa Ramongkol (Areeya’s mum) and Khun Warisara Whitham (Leon’s mum) for joining our Year 1 Thai First Language class to share a beautiful and creative learning experience! Our guest mums introduced the children to the beauty and meaning of Thai flowers and guided them through a fun hands-on activity — designing their own cloth bags using real flower stamps!

The students loved exploring the colours and shapes of different flowers, then using them to create their very own printed tote bags. It was a joyful and artistic experience that connected creativity with Thai culture in a meaningful way. Thank you once again to our amazing Thai parents for your time, enthusiasm, and for making this learning moment so colourful and memorable! The Thai Language Team

Reflecting on our ‘Around the World’ Stay & Play

Our recent Around the World Stay & Play session provided a meaningful opportunity for children and families to come together and explore global themes through hands-on, play-based learning. Children took part in a variety of engaging activities, including planting seeds, sorting recyclable materials, and using their imagination to create models from recycled items. These experiences encouraged curiosity, creativity, and conversations about caring for our planet. We were pleased to see such enthusiastic participation and thoughtful interactions between children and families. Thank you to all who attended and helped make the session such a success.
