PHUKET SUNSHINE VILLAGE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
Making a Lasting Difference Together
We are incredibly proud to announce the launch of our annual fundraising campaign in support of Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation (or PSV)! As a core part of our commitment to the local community, this initiative brings our entire school family together to make a tangible, lasting difference in the lives of children who need it most. Whether it’s through upcoming homeroom activities, student-led events, or direct family sponsorships, every effort counts. This campaign is a wonderful opportunity to teach our students the value of sharing their good fortune while strengthening our ties with the wider Phuket community. Let’s come together, get involved, and make this our most impactful drive yet!
We are aiming high this year with a target of raising 5,000 THB per homeroom class, enough to provide essential supplies for a PSV child for one year! Reaching this goal means we can sponsor more children than ever before, offering them the vital care and opportunities they need to thrive. The official campaign kicks off on Tuesday 20 October, and there will be plenty of exciting ways for students, parents, and staff across both campuses to participate. Please watch our launch video below to see what this initiative is all about and learn how your contributions can transform lives. Get ready to show your incredible generosity and school spirit—together, we can bring sunshine to those who need it most!
OUR LEGACY OF GIVING
Before we look ahead to this year's ambitious targets, we want to pause and celebrate the incredible impact our HeadStart community achieved over the past twelve months. Your unwavering generosity during our charity drives has already transformed countless lives across Phuket.
Nurturing Phuket Sunshine Village

Our partnership with the Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation has always been a cornerstone of our community efforts. Last year, our school family rallied together to raise an incredible 650,038 THB through homeroom activities and direct sponsorships. These vital funds went directly toward providing essential daily supplies, educational materials, and a safe, nurturing environment for the children in their care. The success of last year's campaign proved what we can achieve when we unite for a common cause. Check out some of the heartwarming moments from last year's events in the gallery below as we prepare to make an even bigger difference this year!
24 Hours of True Impact

Our philanthropic reach also extended to the Life Home Project Foundation through our grueling but rewarding 24 Hours to Make a Difference sports charity event. Thanks to the monumental efforts of our participants and sponsors, we successfully raised 355,700 THB. This funding was immediately put to work, entirely covering the costs of urgent renovations to the LHPF facilities—including new drainage systems, safe activity areas, and bedroom improvements. We are thrilled to share the official impact report from the charity detailing exactly how your donations improved the children's daily lives.

Foundation Wai Kru (Teacher Appreciation) Ceremony 2026
Our Foundation Wai Kru Ceremony was a heart-warming celebration of respect, gratitude and the special bond between students and teachers. It was wonderful to see our children, parents and teachers come together to celebrate this meaningful Thai tradition.
Sergei and Tem from Reception confidently delivered heartfelt speeches in English and Thai, followed by a touching message from Miss Amy, who shared her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
A highlight of the ceremony was the delightful “Teachers' Day Dance” performance by our Reception children. Their joyful singing and enthusiastic dancing brought smiles to everyone's faces and beautifully expressed their love and appreciation for their teachers.
A special thank you to our dedicated Thai Department for organising such a meaningful celebration, and to all our wonderful parents for their continued support, beautiful flowers and participation.
Together, we created cherished memories and celebrated the teachers who inspire, guide and care for our children every day.

Postman Visit
Our Preschoolers have been completely captivated by our core book, Dear Zoo, which was brilliantly brought to life through exciting weekly deliveries. After writing to ask for a pet, the children buzzed with anticipation each week as a new mystery box arrived, practicing their communication skills by guessing the animal inside and recalling story language to explain why we had to send back the tall giraffe, grumpy camel, fierce lion, and scary snake! The magic culminated this week when the zoo sent all the animals back at once on a large, stacked trolley, lighting up the children's faces as they rushed to eagerly unbox and play with their familiar friends. It has been wonderful to see this immersive activity spark such a deep, joyful interest in early literacy. A special thank you to our enthusiastic delivery man and head teacher, Mr. Ed, for capturing the children’s imaginations so wonderfully!
